I am a project manager whose emphasis focuses on health research liaison between academic institutions in Kuwait, UK, USA, Canada and Australia. I'm passionate about photography and cross-cultural dialogue.
Through image-making and travel, my photographic practice is focused on exploring the intersection of culture, history, and investigating subjective experiences. My practice includes traditional and alternative image-making methods, and I am particularly drawn to the experimental nature of alternative processes, such as lumen and cyanotype, as methods allow me to create images that emphasize the physicality of the practice, encouraging active engagement while also enabling me to explore the materiality of the photographic image. Combining my interests has allowed me to delve deeper into understanding culture and perception.
